What does live translation cost?

Yes, with two hours of AI translation and no payment details. They are available right after you sign up. If you use them up without choosing a plan, translation stops and no invoice is created. After that you can continue on the Free Plan: it includes one hour a month and needs a payment method on file.

Every plan includes AI translation hours and listener hours each month. Translation counts per target language: one hour in three languages is three hours. Billing is to the second. If you pause translation, for example during music, nothing is counted, and once nobody is listening to a language, its billing stops after 30 seconds. So you only ever pay for what you actually use.

Translation simply keeps running and nothing is switched off. Every further hour costs your plan's hourly rate and is billed after the billing month ends. The allowance applies per month, also on the annual plan: unused hours expire at the end of the month. Credit you bought or received with an upgrade, on the other hand, never expires.

A listener hour is one person listening for one hour: 50 guests at a 90-minute event make 75 listener hours. Even the Small Plan includes 250 a month, which is enough for almost everyone. Only beyond that does each further hour cost your plan's rate. There is no cap on listeners.

You pay for an event package once; it lasts one month and does not renew. You use the included hours during that month, then it ends on its own. If you like it, you can continue it as a subscription. A subscription renews monthly or yearly until you cancel, and costs less per month in return.

Yes, in the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term: at the end of the month for the monthly plan, at the end of the year for the annual plan. Without cancellation, both renew automatically. Until then you keep using your allowance; after that your account moves to the Free Plan and you only pay for what you use beyond it.

Yes, at any time in the dashboard. An upgrade applies immediately, since you need more right away. Whatever is left of your old plan becomes credit that never expires. A downgrade applies at the end of the month. You can also switch plans freely on the annual plan, but doing so extends the term.

By credit card, PayPal or the local payment methods of your country, and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland also by SEPA direct debit. You pay in advance, and the invoice arrives by email after each payment. You enter your company address and VAT ID in the dashboard. For larger institutions we can arrange other options, just get in touch.

Churches, congregations and other religious communities, as well as organisations officially recognised as non-profit or charitable in their country, for their own non-commercial work. You provide proof on request, such as a tax exemption notice, a confirmation from your church body, diocese or church federation, or your official registration in your country. If it is missing, we charge the regular price retroactively. Government bodies, political parties and professional associations are not eligible. Universities and schools receive a quote on request.
